Tic Stac Toe: A top gift for all ages

I run into some great gifts and Tic Stac Toe is a brand new award winning board game that is a must have for the family. I’m not alone in my praise, it’s the winner of the Creative Child Magazine Game of the Year Award, Tillywig Toy Award for Best Family Fun, and the Parents’ Choice Foundation Award! Tic Stac Toe takes the tradition of Tic Tac Toe an puts a spin on the classic strategy game by allowing players to build up as well as across. Using a collection of X’s and O’s each person can think in 3-D to out move the opponent.

We had fun taking the game out of the box and setting it up, it was an easy set up and no batteries needed! The game can be played by all ages – parents, kids, grandparents and friends! My daughter and I played a few rounds and I could see her mind just spinning as she figured out the angles up, down, and across. Lots of concentration as she worked out her strategy. We quickly played 4 games without even thinking about it before deciding to invite the other family members to take part in the fun!

Sofia had no issues and I quickly began to look at the game board from a 3-D perspective quickly. We’ve been teaching Sofia chess to tune up her stratigic thinking skills and this game is also a good one to build those skills.

Sofia and I played 4 games back to back and starting at the third game she began to find strategies to outwit me! Triumphant in her new 3-D knowledge, she pulled out a win!

Great for all ages this game is equally fun for parents and kids alike and makes a great gift anytime.  Reasonably priced at between 19.99 to $24.99 depending on where you find it in stores. I’ve seen it at Target and Walmart as well as in Chapters in Canada. Thanks to my friend Rob who sent the game to the family, we expect many fun nights playing!
