Local flavor – Vancouver

They say that British Columbia in Canada is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it’s true. Surrounded by natural beauty and fresh air people love to get outside and enjoy nature.

We live in Vancouver, the largest city in British Columbia, which is located about 3 hours north of Seattle. We love the diversity of people, culture, natural exploration and kid friendly places the city offers.

You can begin the day at the beach and in 20 minutes be skiing on world class mountains. Bike friendly and easy to navigate it is a great backdrop to tourists and locals. The view below is my walk home from work, nice right?

Over the years I’ve lived in Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver and while each city offers unique experiences, Vancouver is my favorite for the natural splendor, choice of activities, and laid back lifestyle.

If you live here or are thinking of visiting I hope you’ll enjoy the places and information we share.  Below are links you may enjoy when looking for activities.
